Social Learning vLog
In an age where watching a quick video is often the gateway to understanding key concepts or consuming new information quickly, vlogging (video blogging) is an ideal modality to help deliver training to employees. Going one step further, I combined interviews, of employee role models within the organization, with online community voting, and then invited the entire employee population to comment and rate each episode. Below are just two of the many vlogs my team and I launched. In the examples below, each vlog addresses the art and science of effective management and career development. I enjoyed blending creative writing, micro video lessons, and voice-over acting to engage employees beyond classroom training. Monthly posts were anticipated by subscribers, and the fun part for the team and I was watching to see which episodes were the favorites as they ranked above the others.
